VVVASELRCQ CLTTLPRVDF KNIQSLTVTP PGPHCAQTEV IATLKDGHEV CLNPEAPLVQ RIVQKILNKG KAN.
Biological Activity
The biological activity was determined by its ability to chemoattract total human neutrophils using a concentration range of 1.0-10.0 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 100,000-1,000,000 units/mg.
Description
GRO-Beta Rat Recombinant also caled Rat MIP-2 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 73 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7923 Dalton.
The GRO-b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Lyophilized from a 0.2?m filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity
Greater than 99.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized GRO-beta Rat in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Stability
Lyophilized GRO-b although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution CXCL2 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
