Biological Activity
In a functional ELISA, immobilized recombinant human Activin RIB/Fc chimera receptor (0.2 ug/mL) will bind TDGF1 with linear range of 0.8 to 100 ng/ml.
Description
TDGF1 Human Recombinant produced in HEK-293 cells is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 139 amino acids with a molecular weight of 17.8 kDa though on SDS-PAGE migrates at about 25kDa due to the glycosilation.
The TDGF1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
The TDGF1 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2?m filtered solution containing no additives or preservatives.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized TDGF1 in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Source
HEK293-F Cells.
Stability
Lyophilized TDGF1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution TDGF1 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
